• *Whoopee on the View.....I love her on the View and I'm glad she stands up for herself when Barbara tries to bully her.
• *Barbara Walters.....ok, we get you WERE a great reporter once, but do you really think that gives you the right to be a rude bitch?
• *"Reading Lolita in Tehran"......best book ever!
• *Ken Follett......best fiction ever! (really enjoying, "The Third twin" right now)
• *Pet Peeve.....people who think they are some how better then others, just because they have money.
• *Bridgeport......at least when Ganim was in office.....the streets were clean, businesses encouraged to come to Bridgeport, and the gangs were under control! Sooooo, he gave jobs to his friends! At least his friends DID THEIR JOBS!...and did them well, I might add.
• *Fairfield Beaches....specifically Jennings......I love spending the day there....relaxing.....love the ocean.
• *Job Hunting.......sucks!
• *NYC.....love the city and people watching.
• *Pet Peeve....people who post fake jobs on Job Sites and are really recruiting companies or advertisers.
• *Bowling......can't wait for it to start again......I miss the weekly social with my friends.
• *Fire......thinking of going up to Blackrock State Park and just having a fire for the day....warm coffee.....and a packed lunch......relaxing and watching the leaves start to change.
• *Greece......they have to win on October 10th or once AGAIN not making it to the World Cup! Win d@mn it!
• *Pet Peeve.....attention whores and people who always play the victim......annoying!
• *Winter......dreading it!
• *Job.....wish I could find a job working for a cause I believe in AND making a decent living......$12.00/hr to run your whole office is NOT even close to acceptable, $20.00/hr is....heck, I'd settle for $15.00 so I could do something I believed in...sheeeeesh!
• *Alex (our mini pincher).....he's getting older and I fear loosing him......I love that little bugger soooo much.
• *Dinner Out......I LOVE eatting out and wish i could afford to do it all the time.
• KickBall......just as fun when you play with friends as an adult.....more painful, but well worth the fun : )

The Angel of Iran

BE WARNED: This is NOT an easy video to watch, but one I think EVERYONE should see with their own eyes.

This is the reality of what is happening in Iran.

This young woman was protesting the election, (that I, and anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together believe was in fact rigged) by simply "being out in the streets". For this, she was shot in the heart and lungs.

This is the very bloody video of that moment uploaded to twitter and on-line by Iranians, despite the government's attempt to block cell phone and Internet services. Iranians who had no cell phone service could still share via bluetooth from person to person and eventually the world, what was and IS STILL happening in the streets on Iran.

A quick note...hard to watch

Tina's been taking amazing care of her mom.....while I know this is hard for her, I'm so happy they both have this time together, for so many reasons.....mostly life is a struggle but, sometimes the world bends to give you exactly what you need, when you need it the most. I've watched Tina, her mom, and her little sister grow closer as they bonded against the cancer.......tragic and beautiful all at once......

On a second note I wrote this big long thing about the concept of justified murder which we are seeing in way too many news stories these days.......after 45 minutes of writing, blogger crashed and I lost it......DAMNATION!
